You may ask us for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability (of the data you gave us), and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
How to ask: write to support@sportingscouter.com with:
- what you are asking for (for example: erasure);
- what it is about: a social media comment (with the link), a review you wrote, an invitation you received from an organiser, an organiser account, or something else;
- the email address for our reply;
- any details that help us find the data.
Who answers:
- Invitations and survey responses sent by an organiser: the organiser decides about that data. We forward your request to the organiser within 48 hours and tell you who we sent it to.
- Social media comments, reviews on our site, accounts and business contacts: we answer.
Deadline: we reply within one month. In complex cases or with many requests we may need two more months; if so, we tell you within the first month. It is free.
Identity: we only ask you to confirm who you are if there is reasonable doubt, usually through the email you used for the review or the account. We do not ask for an ID document as a matter of course.
Complaints: you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt), or, in the United Kingdom, to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). More in our Privacy Policy.
