What they are and when we ask for consent
Cookies and similar technologies (for example, browser local storage) store or read information on your device. Without your consent we only use those that are strictly necessary for the service you asked for (for example, keeping you signed in or remembering your cookie choice). For anything else we ask for your prior consent, and rejecting is as easy as accepting (Portuguese Law 41/2004, Art. 5).
Where your choice applies
Your choice applies to sportingscouter.com, business.sportingscouter.com, feedback.sportingscouter.com and trust.sportingscouter.com. You can change or withdraw it at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the footer. On feedback we use nothing that needs consent: there we show only a notice.
Cookies we use
The table lists every cookie and every browser storage item: its name, who sets it, what it is for, how long it lasts, whether it is first party (our domain) or third party, and the domain where it appears. Cookies that are not necessary only appear after you give your consent.

Visit counting without consent
On all our sites (www, business, feedback and trust) we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying visitors (pages viewed, country, device and browser type). This counting runs without asking for consent. The data is not used to profile anyone.
Statistics
Only with your consent, and only on sportingscouter.com and the public and sign-up pages of business, we also measure usage in more detail with PostHog (EU), without cookies: the information stays only in the browser’s memory while the page is open. PostHog stores in your browser only your choice (accepted or refused). On sportingscouter.com, with the same consent, we also use Google Analytics, which stores cookies (see the table).
Advertising
Only with your consent, and only on sportingscouter.com, we use:
- the Meta Pixel and the Reddit Pixel, to measure our ads and show you ads on Facebook, Instagram and Reddit;
- Google Ads, linked to Google Analytics, to measure our ads and show you personalised ads on Google sites and services;
- Microsoft Clarity, which records how you use the pages (clicks, scrolls, mouse movements) and builds heatmaps. All page text and form fields are masked. Microsoft may use this data for Microsoft Advertising, including building advertising profiles. These partners receive the data as controllers (Google, for Google Ads, as an independent controller); Meta jointly with us for the collection. Who they are and how to object: Privacy Policy, section 5A. You can choose each partner under “Cookie preferences”.
How we load these tools
Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel, the Reddit Pixel and Microsoft Clarity are loaded by Google Tag Manager. Before you accept, your browser makes no request to Google Tag Manager or to these partners. Google Tag Manager is loaded only after you accept the statistics or the advertising category, and each tool runs only if you accept its category.
Security
If Cloudflare runs a security check (for example, to tell people from bots), it may store a cookie that remembers you passed it. These cookies are necessary and only appear when a check runs.
