What they are and when we ask for consent
Cookies and similar technologies (for example, browser local storage) store or read information on your device. Without your consent we only use those that are strictly necessary for the service you asked for (for example, keeping you signed in or remembering your cookie choice). For anything else we ask for your prior consent, and rejecting is as easy as accepting (Portuguese Law 41/2004, Art. 5).

Visit counting without consent
On sportingscouter.com we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying visitors (pages viewed, country, device and browser type). This counting runs without asking for consent. The data is not used to profile anyone.
Statistics
Only with your consent we also measure usage in more detail with PostHog (EU), without cookies: the information stays only in the browser’s memory while the page is open. PostHog stores in your browser only your choice (accepted or refused).
Security
If Cloudflare runs a security check (for example, to tell people from bots), it may store a cookie that remembers you passed it. These cookies are necessary and only appear when a check runs.
