Who can review an event Any participant, from the event page on our site, the public link or the QR code the organiser shares. We ask for your email address and bib number.
When it is published
- If you are signed in to your account, the review is published straight away.
- Otherwise, we confirm your email and someone on our team approves the review before it is published.
What we check and what we do not
- We confirm the reviewer’s email address.
- When the organiser has given us the participant list, we compare the bib number and email with it. If they match, the review is linked to a participant on the list.
- This does not prove that the person finished the event, or that they were the one who took part: it shows that the details given match the organiser’s list.
- We do not read the text to decide whether it is true.
The organiser Can reply to reviews. Cannot delete, hide or change a review.
What we remove We reject or remove reviews containing spam, insults or inappropriate content, duplicates, reviews unrelated to the event, and reviews with other people’s personal data. When we reject a review, we email the author with the reason. Anyone signed in can report a review; our team looks at reports.
No payment for reviews We do not pay anyone to write reviews, we do not accept payment to publish, hide or change reviews, and organisers may not offer anything in exchange for reviews. The order of reviews and results does not depend on payment.
Responses to organiser surveys (Finisher Feedback invitations) are for the organiser only and are not published.
